Face Scan

Advanced contactless health monitoring technology that captures vital signs through transdermal optical imaging

What does it capture?

Core Vitals:

Heart rate, blood pressure, breathing rate, and oxygen level.

Cardiovascular Risk Profile:

10-year CVD risk assessment, Framingham score, and blood pressure risk evaluation.

Health Assessments:

Lipid profile estimates, body composition metrics, and metabolic health risk assessment.

Taking the Perfect Face Scan

  • 1

Position face in outline to start

Center your face within the circular guide

  • 2

    Follow on-screen guide

Keep your face steady and follow instructions

  • 3

Aim for 5 stars for great results!

The more stars, the more accurate your results will be

How does it capture it?

Contactless imaging technology

Our technology uses optical imaging sensors to capture light reflected from the surface of your face.

This process is possible due to the translucent nature of skin, it allows light to penetrate through to reach the dense vascular network of the face (where it encounters melanin from the skin, and haemoglobin in the blood).

Light reflection technology

Melanin and Hemoglobin can both reflect photons of light at different wavelengths. Reflected light can be captured using optical imaging sensors, such as those in a smartphone camera.

Our technology doesn't capture your face as a person, but instead the blood pulsating beneath the skin.

How does it work?

1

Input your details like age sex height & weight

2

Ensure your face is fully in the circle

3

Ensure there is even lighting across your face

4

The scan will take 30-seconds to complete

5

Results will be on your screen in the seconds following your scan

Complete scan in just 30 seconds

Clinical Validation

All data was gathered in clinical trials conducted in controlled environments using validated medical equipment for comparison (e.g., ECG, BIOPAC, mercury sphygmomanometer).

Map of Canada

Validated Equipment

  • Heart rate & MSI were benchmarked against a 3-lead ECG
  • Breathing rate was measured with a BIOPAC system and breathing belt
  • Blood pressure was verified using a mercury sphygmomanometer by trained nurses

Technology Overview

  • Facial blood flow analysis: Facial video is processed to extract subtle changes in skin tone, linked to cardiovascular activity
  • Edge-based data privacy: No images or video are transmitted; encrypted signal data is processed via secure cloud functions
  • 30-second scan time: Vitals captured quickly using only the device camera—no hardware required
